5 Pattani males arrested for allegedly posing as law enforcement officials to extort locals

5 males who had been posing as police officers in southern Thailand’s Pattani province had been arrested yesterday. The suspects allegedly extorted drug-taking residents or youngsters out of money or property.
The Yaring police were alerted that men had been portraying themselves as members of the Yaring police at a village in the Laem Pho Subdistrict.
