Valmet opens new service centre in Chile for mining and metals

Valmet is adding a model new move control solutions service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, expanding its providing to the mining and metals industry.
The Antofagasta service centre starts working this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will provide a full vary of move management companies, together with the substitute and upkeep of valves, pumps and third-party equipment. The service centre will also serve as a buyer training facility.
The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and metal contains the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox manufacturers.
Valmet entered into the flow control business in April 2022 when the economic flow management firm Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our flow control installed base and solution providing for the mining and metals industry within the region,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control enterprise line. “The new facility allows us to better respond to the growing demand for customer support in addition to drive our growth in minerals processing. Valmet has 40 flow management service centres worldwide.
