Former Chiang Rai Governor says “The Cave” incorrect in some places

Chiang Rai’s former governor Narongsak Osottanakorn, says he’s disappointed in Tom Waller’s film “The Cave”. He mentioned the film does not depict all the primary points of the real-life drama and is “wrong in some places”.
Smooth went to a particular premiere of Tom Waller’s movie “The Cave”, along with members of the staff concerned in the rescue, on Monday night. The movie follows the two weeks from the time the 13 younger football gamers entered the Tham Luang cave till the completion of the rescue, focussing on the journey of the overseas rescue group members.
The governor’s function in the drama was down-played within the film with the actor enjoying him only appearing briefly. But actual footage of a number of the governor’s media briefings was used.
Governor Narongsak was the commander of the Joint Administration Centre for Rescue Operations at Tham Luang. He was the ‘face’ of the rescue internet hosting common media briefings and overseeing plenty of the operations..
